Jose FierroI graduated from El Paso High School in 1998, then I went to the University of Texas at El Paso where I got my Bachelors Degree on Industrial Engineering on 2003. I worked as an engineer for a couple of years then I decided to pursue the rewarding career of teaching. Andress High School opened me their doors and gave me the opportunity to begin my teaching career. I was at Andress High school for almost 5 years teaching Geometry, and then I decided to come back to my home school El Paso High where I was giving the opportunity to share my knowledge and re-live the tradition of being a Tiger. I'm looking forward to have you in one of my classes; our goal is to have you prepared so you can succeed not only in the class and the State mandated tests but to have you ready for college and life.
Dear parents I want you to know that this year we plan to work hard and apply ourselves to a serious study in mathematics. My goal is to have every student succeed in math, and I need your help to do this. Here are some ways you can help:
· Provide a quiet place to study and do homework · Ask about homework and what we have been doing in class · Monitor progress reports · Tutoring is strongly encouraged (B bdays after school) · Contact me if you have any concerns (915) 236-2500 at EPHS, or at [email protected] |
